New NCIS spin off Ncis_title

A new CBS spin-off pilot for NCIS has cast three more of its leads. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Louise Lombard, Peter Cambor and Daniela Ruah have signed up for lead roles in the acclaimed show’s spin-off series.

A while ago we reported that Chris O’Donnell and LL Cool J were in negotiations for the other two leads in the series, nothing has been made official yet for them. Lombard will portray Clara, the female lead of the series, who was a former military police officer and now a sharp investigator. Cambor will play Nate, a sharp-witted psychologist who has vast knowledge of American culture. Ruah will play Kensi, a young investigator who also studied criminology and forensics in college.

The show’s pilot will air in true Bellisario fashion, with the pilot episode happening inside an NCIS episode. This follows suit as NCIS aired its first pilot inside an episode of JAG in 2003. There is no word yet if Donald Bellisario or his son David are involved in the spin-off.
